2014 vs 2015 Private Property Resale

The property market scene has been very challenging in recent years because of the measures implemented by the government.

Today we will do a quick comparison in general the overall Singapore Property Market transaction volume and value between 2014 and 2015. Why did we select 2014? Reason is simple, this is the year where the prices started to fall and the transactions are lower as compared to 2013.

We want to try to measure how the market has performed since 2014. The values obtained are from SRX.COM.SG.

2015 has been a mixed bag of results in real estate segment. While the volume and total market value has cropped up, the average PSF of the properties has only inched down a little. We will analyse the rental market in our next  Singapore Property Market Overview.
